4th Annual Garfield Park Conservatory St. Patrick's Day Pond Dye

WHAT: The Garfield Park Conservatory will be dyeing their ponds green in honor of St. Patrick’s Day for the fourth year in a row. Remote-controlled toy boats will be used to help stir the dye, replicating the time-honored St. Patrick’s Day tradition of dyeing the Chicago River.
WHO:Chicago Park District conservatory staff and visitors will be on hand to kick off the ceremonial dyeing of the ponds at Garfield Park Conservatory.
WHERE: Garfield Park Conservatory, 300 N. Central Park Ave.
Fern Room (west end)
WHEN:Friday, March 11 at 10:00 a.m.
DETAILS: The dye being utilized for the ponds is environmentally safe.
