Chicago Park District Announces Schedule for the 12th Annual Movies in the Parks Series
The Chicago Park District’s 12th annual Movies in the Parks series kicks off Monday, June 11 and will feature 176 screenings of current and classic movies in 128 citywide parks through Oct. 26. The series is presented by Charter One.
Admission is free, and all movies begin at dusk weather permitting. Patrons can call the Movies in the Parks hotline for daily listings and updated weather-related cancellations at 312-742-1134.
“The Chicago Park District’s Movies in the Parks series is a great tradition in the neighborhood parks,” Chicago Park District General Superintendent and CEO Michael Kelly. “This program is one of many recreational options that we will offer this summer that allows families the chance to relax and engage with others in their community.”
