Chicago Park District Works to Restore Access to Parks, Lakefront Trail

Due to recent snow storms, and the relocation of snow from lakeshore drive, various portions of the Lakefront Trail from Hollywood (5800 N) through Rainbow Beach (7700 S) may be difficult to access.
The stretch of Lakefront Trail between from North Avenue (1600 N) to Ohio (440 N), which has been closed for several days, remains closed due to icy conditions.
Finally, Horner (2741 W. Montrose) and Lowe (5203 S. Lowe) parks are closed temporarily due to power outages.
The Chicago Park District is working quickly to restore access to the parks and trails, and thanks its patrons for their continued patience.
