Department of Performance Management

The Office of Performance Management is tasked with using performance improvement methodologies to achieve key strategic goals in system-wide efforts to improve District operations. The Department works closely with the Office of Budget and Management on making casual links between budget requests and performance and is responsible for the KPI section of the annual budget summary.

The Department is also responsible for performance review sessions with all Park District departments as well as the establishment of programs, metrics, standards and dashboards to collect, organize, monitor, and evaluate operational, service, and financial performance data.

he Department also conducts quarterly/session based data analysis to determine current performance, forecasts and future performance trends in order to recommend improvements and/or corrective actions and is accountable for training and mentoring of staff on Performance Improvement methodologies while identifying resources required to successfully execute projects.
