Yoga students and teachers welcome! Discover the many uses of standard yoga props to enhance alignment and further mastery of advanced asana. This two hour workshop will consist of practicing prop use and discussion on the principles of alignment and body mechanics. This class will count as Yoga Alliance CEUs for RYT and ERYTs.
This workshop is part two of a three part series taught by Chelsea Brown to "Deepen Your Yoga Practice"

Part Three: Vinyasa Krama - Sequencing

Chelsea Brown

Chelsea developed a passion for yoga early in life when her mom introduced her to the practice as a way of cultivating a still mind. After engaging in a committed daily practice for years, she undertook Yoga Teacher Training at the esteemed Prairie Yoga in Lisle, IL in 2010, under the excellent direction of Tricia Fiske.

Chelsea has over five years of experience as a passionate instructor, leading numerous classes throughout Chicagoland. She weaves Tantric energetic practices and mindful breath-work with spirited asana sequences to create a unique energy for every class. She encourages her students to explore the depths of themselves through the lens of the eight limbs of yoga. In addition to guiding adults through the practice of yoga, Chelsea finds great joy in teaching children. Her experience with kiddos ranges from nannying to special education to coaching gymnastics. After teaching children for many years, she is currently pursuing a Children's Specialty Yoga Certification from Global Family Yoga. Chelsea believes mindful movement of the breath and body is the key to opening the heart.
