FITNESS CENTERS

Chicago Park District fitness centers offer a high-quality, low-cost alternative to private gyms. Fitness centers feature state-of-the-art equipment such as computerized treadmills, cross trainers, upright bikes, recumbent bikes, free weights and benches, cable cross-overs, multi-station weight machines and core-focused weight equipment.

SESSION PASSES
After a free week of fitness, sign up for a membership!

  • Monthly, 3-Month & Annual session passes are available for purchase at any time – valid from the date of purchase. Fees range from $30-$60 for a 3-Month session pass, a fraction of the cost of commercial gyms.
  • Gold Card – allows access to all Park District fitness centers throughout the city.

Find a variety of classes in parks across the city, such as:

  • Plus family friendly classes such as Mommy & Me Yoga, Mighty Fit Kidz and Mighty Fit Family.

 

Fitness classes are first come first served to capacity for each class and free this week only. You do not need to pre-register for your free fitness classes during Free Fitness Week.

LAP SWIM

Get a great total body workout in the water.  Lap swim sessions are available at many parks throughout the city.  Hours and times vary by park.  View the lap swim schedule in effect during free fitness week.


SESSION PASSES
After a free week of swimming laps and getting a great workout, sign up for a lap swim membership!

  • Monthly membership:  $25
  • Three-month memberhip:  $40
  • Provides access to all lap swim times at any park that offers lap swim.
