Come out and swim and enjoy open swims, family swims and lap swims at the Chicago Park District's 50 outdoor pools. The outdoor pool season typically runs from mid-June through Labor Day.  Many Park District pools have accessibility features such as ADA stairs and pool lifts. At a few locations with pool lifts, direct wheelchair access to the pool area may still be limited.

Indoor & Outdoor Pool Renovations
The Chicago Park District is in the midst of a major infrastructure renovation of the 50 outdoor pools and 26 indoor pools within parks across the city. During this work, some indoor pools may be closed for a period of time for construction during the Winter 2012 session. The scope of work and duration of the project will vary per pool. Signage will be placed at the park before and during each project to inform patrons on the duration of the project, as well as the nearest open pool. We will not schedule pools serving adjacent communities to be serviced simultaneously.  Parks that are currently closed for construction are indicated in the notes section in the list below.
