Free Citywide Admission to Chicago Park District Fitness Centers and Classes During ‘Free Fitness Week’

Chicago Park District's free fitness week will be held the week of January 9. Nationally certified fitness instructors will be on hand to provide insight into the range of fitness classes and affordable, nearby exercise options available to patrons of all ages and abilities.
Free Fitness Week runs January 9- January 15, 2017. Most winter session classes begin January 9th, 2017.
Residents all across Chicago can take advantage of free admission to 70+ Chicago Park District Fitness Centers, 41 indoor pools and hundreds of fitness classes in January during Free Fitness Week (FFW). Registration is required and can be done online on the Chicago Park District website. All activities are first come, first serve based on availability.
The Chicago Park District’s fitness centers feature state-of-the-art equipment including: computerized treadmills, cross trainers, upright and recumbent bicycles, free weights, cable cross-overs, multi-station weight machines and core-focused weight equipment.
The Chicago Park District also offers a wide array of fitness classes for a range of ages and interests, including aquatic aerobics, cycling, Pilates, yoga, kickboxing, and strength training, to name a few. Fitness classes vary per location.
Patrons who purchase fitness center memberships, monthly, 3-month or annual session passes, during Free Fitness Week will receive a free water bottle and towel, courtesy of Powerade. Offer valid while supplies last.
Get a great total body workout in the water. Lap swim sessions are also available at many citywide pools during Free Fitness Week.
