Media Permits for Filming and Photography
A Media Permit is required for any of the following activities:
- photography for commercial uses such as catalogs, magazines, etc.
- filming for any commercial use
- filming and photography for student productions
- non-commercial filming and photos (e.g. Wedding Photos) at our enclosed Special Use Facilities (e.g. the Garfield Park and Lincoln Park Conservatories)
Also, please note that individuals or groups that have acquired a Media Permit will have rights to the space over all other non-permitted park patrons. Therefore, if you are interested in taking special occasion photos – such as wedding photos – at any park or park location, you are encouraged to acquire a Media Permit prior to your special day.
HOW TO APPLY FOR A MEDIA PERMIT:

| Step 3. | Submit the completed Media Permit Application to our office: Chicago Park District Please include a detailed description of your photo or filming. Applications may also be faxed to our office: (312) 742 - 6038. |
