Spring Flower Show

A variety of spring flowers are popping up at the annual Spring Flower Show! The show features large specimens of azaleas, and colorful spring bulbs along with other flowers during the months of February and March. In April through May, hydrangeas, spring annuals, perennials, flowering trees and bulbs are displayed to offer another look of spring. After seeing this show, you may be inspired to use some of the featured plants in your own garden.

Flower shows have been presented by the Chicago Park District for 90+ years, beginning when the Garfield Park Conservatory first opened. These annual shows have continued throughout the years, and are still well attended at both the Garfield Park Conservatory and the Lincoln Park Conservatory.

There are four seasonal shows on display at each conservatory throughout the year:
* Spring Flower Show
* Summer Tropical Flower Show OR Art and Garden Show
* Fall Flower Show (Chrysanthemum Show at Lincoln Park Conservatory)
* Winter Flower Show (Winter Flower and Train Show at Lincoln ParkConservatory)
