Flowers 101: Build a Bouquet

Learn with Growing Power and the Chicago Park District the basics of cut flower growing and harvesting. Attendees will tour the Jackson Park Urban Farm flower garden; learn about the varieties that are preferred for bouquets, and how to care for them. The class will culminate the cutting and assembling of a seasonal bouquet of beautiful flowers!

Jackson Park Urban Farm is located on the corner of S. Cornell Drive and E. Marquette Drive. Park in the lot on 63rd and Cornell. Walk south along Cornell and follow path as it veers left into the wooded area. The farm will be on your right.
