Suddenly Last Summer: Shattered Globe Theatre
In Tennessee Williams' tale of old world Southern privilege, a family seeks the truth about the life and death of one of their own. Violet Venable, holds court in her garden on the verge of ordering a lobotomy for her niece Catherine, who has been institutionalized for her insistent, seemingly fantastic account of the events surrounding the death of Mrs. Venable's son, Sebastian. Set on preserving Sebastian's memory, Mrs. Venable will go to any length to discredit Catharine's account.

Opening June 17, Theater on the Lake features 8 plays in 8 weeks. Performances run Wednesdays through Sundays. All shows begin at 7:30 pm; except on Sundays, shows begin at 6:30 pm. *Note: Sunday, July 12 start time 7:30.
