In the Park with Civic - Brass Quintet
Professional chamber ensembles from the Civic Orchestra of Chicago perform classical to modern music, and invite young audiences to ask questions about the pieces, the instruments, and the musicians' training in this educational program which the whole family can enjoy! These concerts are a great way to introduce your family to the four instrument families of the orchestra.

From salsa and reggae, to gospel, jazz and classical, the Park District’s Concerts in the Parks series offers Chicago families a fun, affordable way to spend an evening in their own community.
Throughout the year, indoor concerts are held in parks across the city. In the summer, bring a lawn chair or blanket to enjoy the outdoor concerts. Regardless of the time of year,prepare to dance and sway the night away at a concert in the parks.
