Release Date: 11/21/07
Soldier Field, 1410 S. Museum Campus Dr., hosts its first Breakfast with Santa Sunday, Dec. 9 in the Cadillac Club. An anticipated total of 1,100 guests can be accommodated during two seatings at 9:30 a.m. and 11:30 a.m.
The four-star brunch will be one of the few times during the year when the Cadillac Club’s fine dining is open to the public. Families will not only be able feast on a fantastic holiday-themed breakfast, but also visit with Santa and his elves and share their holiday wishes.
Chicago Bears kicker, Robbie Gould, is scheduled to greet all those attending and sign guests’ favorite Bears gear. Finally, as a special treat, families can take their holiday picture on the field following breakfast.
“This holiday event is a unique opportunity for all Chicagoans to experience this historic venue, most notably from the vantage point of the field,” said Timothy J. Mitchell, General Superintendent and CEO of the Chicago Park District.
Dominick’s is the host sponsor of this first-time holiday event and is organizing the toy drive benefiting the Walter and Connie Payton Foundation. All toys donated will go to deserving Chicagoland children during this holiday season. The Walter and Connie Payton Foundation is dedicated to the emotional healing of neglected, abused and underprivileged children by providing tools and opportunities to build self-esteem and encourage a better family unit, giving hope for a brighter future. All guests bringing new, unwrapped toys will receive a special bonus to the Chicago Bear pro shop.
Admission is $50 for adults, $25 for children ages 3-12, and free for children ages 3 and under. Reservations are only available by calling 312-235-7669. Guests can park in the North Garage attached to the stadium for $15 and enter directly to the Cadillac Club. Visit www.soldierfield.net for more information.
