PARK DISTRICT CITYWIDE ICE RINKS CLOSED TODAY DUE TO EXTREME WEATHER

WHAT: All eight outdoor ice rinks operated by the Chicago Park District are closed again today as a safety precaution against the inclement weather.

They are scheduled to re-open tomorrow, Saturday, Jan. 17.

WHERE: The following outdoor ice rinks operated by the Chicago Park District are closed today and will re-open tomorrow:

Daley Bicentennial Park, Grant Park, 337 E. Randolph St.
McKinley Park, 2210 W. Pershing Rd.
Midway Plaisance Park, 1130 Midway Plaisance North
Mt. Greenwood Park, 3721 W. 111 St.
Riis Park, 6100 W. Fullerton Ave.
Rowan Park, 11546 S. Avenue L
Warren Park, 6601 N. Western Ave.
West Lawn Park, 4233 W. 65th St.

MORE: When the rinks re-open tomorrow, visitors can bring their own skates, and ice skate at all outdoor Chicago Park District ice rinks for free.

Skate rentals are $5 at all outdoor rinks except for Daley Bicentennial, which has an additional $1 surcharge. Click here for schedules.
