Lincoln Park Conservatory Council Hosts Ninth Annual Hothouse Holiday Party Tuesday, Dec. 5

Chicago, IL, Nov. 20, 2006 – In its ninth year, the “Hothouse Holiday” event hosted by the Lincoln Park Conservancy Council holds a festive fundraiser by auctioning special wreaths. The festivities will be held Tuesday, Dec. 5, at 6 p.m. at the Lincoln Park Conservatory, 2391 North Stockton Drive.
“Hothouse Holiday” is a benefit party to help support the Lincoln Park Conservatory. It features WreathArt, a silent auction of wreaths created by some of Chicago’s leading artists, architects and designers. Partygoers will have the opportunity to enjoy a complimentary buffet, music and libations. There will also be a live auction featuring one-of-a-kind artwork by Richard Hunt, Victor Skrebneski, Tony Fitzpatrick, Chris Garofalo and Oscar Romero.
Tickets are $100 in advance and $120 at the door. There is limited complimentary parking behind the conservatory as well as additional parking at the Lincoln Park Zoo parking lot.
The mission of the Lincoln Park Conservatory Council is to promote the appreciation, understanding and use of Chicago’s historic Lincoln Park Conservatory through development and funding of quality displays and educational programs as well as position the conservatory as a premier sightseeing and tourist destination.
