BOATING & FISHING ENTHUSIASTS ARE INVITED TO GET HOOKED ON A NEW EVENT: THE BOAT & TACKLE MARKET

Soldier Field, 1410 S. Museum Campus Dr., hosts the annual Boat and Tackle Market, Saturday, May 9 from 9 a.m. – 3 p.m. in the South Festival Lot. Boating and fishing enthusiasts are invited to buy, sell or check out new and used equipment.
Admission is $5 for ages 12 and up, free for children 11 and under. Free parking is available in the Waldron parking deck. Call 312-235-7243 for more information or visit www.soldierfield.net.
All kinds of vendors, companies and organizations will showcase great deals and offerings for boating and fishing fans. Everything from fishing boats, canoes, boat accessories as well as new and used fishing tackle will be sold.
Games and activities for all ages will also be featured throughout the day, such as a fishing contest, climbing wall and remote-control boat regattas. A picnic area, food and beverage for purchase and music add to the festival atmosphere.
