LINCOLN PARK & GARFIELD PARK CONSERVATORIES’ SUMMER TROPICAL FLOWER SHOW

Visitors can experience a tropical paradise in Chicagoat either the Lincoln Park Conservatory, 2391 N. Stockton Drive, or the Garfield Park Conservatory, 300 N. Central Park Avethis summer. Garfield Park Conservatory’s tropical flower display begins June 6 and runs through September 27. Lincoln Park Conservatory’s tropical flower display begins May 30 and runs through September 20.
"Both the Lincoln Parkand GarfieldParkconservatories offer visitors a chance to escape the concrete, urban environment and reconnect with nature," said Mary Eysenbach, Chicago Park District Director of Conservatories. “Visitors can experience a tropical paradise with a plant collection that includes hundreds of different species from all over the world.”
Both shows will feature flowering plants in addition to those selected for colorful foliage. Enjoy the lush backdrop of assorted tropical plants, featuring various begonias and hibiscus.
Hours, Admission
Open every day of the year from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. and at the Garfield Park Conservatory, Wednesdays until 8 p.m. Admission is free unless otherwise noted for special events or programs.
Directions
Lincoln Park Conservatory (312.742.7736) is located just five minutes north of downtown. From Lake Shore Drive, exit Fullerton Avenue and travel two blocks west. From I-94, exit Fullerton Avenue and travel two miles east. The Conservatory is located on the southeast corner of Fullerton and Stockton.
Garfield Park Conservatory, 300 N. Central Park Ave., is located just fifteen minutes west of downtown. From I-290, exit Independence Avenue (3800 west) and travel north. Turn east onto Washington Blvd. Turn north onto Central Park Avenue (3600 west). Our parking lot will be on your left, just before you reach the conservatory. Alternatively, take the CTA Green line and exit at Conservatory/Central Park Drive.
