Cotton Tail Park
History
In 1990, the Dearborn Park Corporation donated this park site in its ambitious residential development to the Chicago Park District. The park district named it Cotton Tail Park in 1998 at the request of the Dearborn Park Landscape Committee. This local residents' group championed the new name because the park is filled with cotton-tailed rabbits that neighborhood children love to chase.
