Volunteer Description:
Volunteers are always needed to help with the PARK Kids after school program while school is in session. Over 70 parks in neighborhoods throughout the city offer the after school program for grades 1 to 8 from the hours of 3 to 6 pm. Volunteers assist with homework help, recreational programming, arts and craft and snack time. We are asking for volunteers to commit to one or two nights a week for the full three hours or a full eight-hour shift on a school holiday like the upcoming Columbus Day. People interested should check with their local park for the closest PARK Kids location and details on registering.
