DUTIES: Assists one or more participants, depending upon the severity of their disability and/or need, in sports, games and various recreation and athletic activities. Evaluates the participant's skill level and assesses his/her leisure capacity to participate. Enforces and promotes safety guidelines for the participant in his/her recreation and athletic activities. Assists participant with lunch and necessary restroom functions as needed.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Enrollment in a college or university pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Therapeutic Recreation, Special Education or related field is preferred; or, three years of experience working hands on/directly with children and/or adults with disabilities is required

2009 Wages: $15.78 per hour
