DUTIES: Assists one child with disabilities in sports, games and various recreation and athletic activities. Evaluates the child’s skill level and assesses his/her leisure capacity to participate. Enforces and promotes safety guidelines for the child in his/her recreation and athletic activities. Assists child with lunch and necessary restroom functions as needed.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Enrollment in a college or university pursuing a Bachelor’s degree. Bachelor’s degree in Therapeutic Recreation is preferred, supplemented by one to three years of experience in therapeutic recreation or working with children with disabilities are required.

2008 Salary: $15.78 per hour
