Duties: Provides instruction and training to children in sports and competitive athletics in swimming and water polo. Adapts programs to reflect different levels of participant skill development. Provides information on rules of individual and team sports. Enforces and promotes safety guidelines.Sets up sports equipment and apparatus.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:Enrollment in a college or university supplemented by one to two years of sports or coaching experience; or an equivalent combination of training and experience is required.
Certification Requirements:Applicants must have one or more of the following certifications at the time of hire:
USA Swimming Coach Certification
US Water Polo Coach Certification
American Water Polo Coach Certification

2008 Salary: $15.78 per hour
