DUTIES:Loads and unloads material and equipment; places material, tools and equipment in position for use by trades workers.Assists trades in excavation and backfilling.Performs demolition and remedial work.Uses jackhammer; moves gravel, crushed stone, brick or concrete; removes concrete forms.Digs trenches and holes for catch basins/manholes.Makes excavations for foundations and conduits.Provides calculated quantities of ingredients and mixes concrete, plaster or mortar.Erects scaffolding and rigging needed to construct walls, roofs, and supports.Performs a variety of manual tasks in support of construction.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:Three years of full time paid work experience performing manual labor related to building, landscape, repair and construction projects, or an equivalent combination of apprentice training and experience is required.

2008 Salary: $33.15 per hour (Seasonal/Part-Time)
