The Chicago Park District hosts the NikeFuel House, 1800 N. Stockton, and the seasonal NikeFuel House basketball court in south Lincoln Park, offering the community new ways to engage in recreation through Nike digital innovations.

The Chicago Park District’s Theater on the Lake: The Chicago Summer Theater Festival turns 60 this year and is proud to announce the eight artistically diverse Chicago theater companies that will receive encore presentations from June 13 – Aug. 5, 2012. Each production will be performed for five evenings only at the theater at Fullerton Avenue and Lake Shore Drive.
Soldier Field and the Chicago Park District recently announced it has been awarded the status of LEED for Existing Buildings (LEED-EB) from the U.S. Green Building Council (USGBC). Soldier Field is the first existing North American stadium to receive the award of LEED-EB Certification and the first NFL stadium to receive this prestigious award. LEED-EB stands for Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design.
