A unique sculptural exhibit entitled “Form in Flora III” takes root at Lincoln Park Conservatory from now through November 2, 2012. Admission is free and open to public during Conservatory hours, daily 9 a.m. – 5 p.m.

The 21 different artists  participating in the exhibit drew inspiration from nature and include: Nikki Renee Anderson, Joe Barrington, Sharon Bladholm, Sarah Barnhart-Fields, Ray Katz, Sheila Ganch, Mike Helbing, Terrence Karpowicz, Ray Katz, Jill King, Tess Little, Bruce A. Niemi, Corinne D. Peterson, Robert Pulley, Elena Rakochy, Eric Steele, Fisher Stolz, Allison Svoboda, Steph Van Doren, Jason Verbeek and Vivian Visser.  The exhibit was curated by Vivian Visser.

The exhibit will feature nature-based sculptures created with various mediums that include metal, stone and earthwork.  The sculptures are set throughout Lincoln Park Conservatory’s display houses and on the surrounding grounds 

The artists in the exhibition are members of Chicago Sculpture International, the Mid South Sculpture Alliance or the Texas Sculpture Group, all affiliates of the International Sculpture Center, a national organization and publisher of Sculpture Magazine. This exhibition coincides with the 23rd International Sculpture Conference being held this year in Chicago during October, 2012.

Lincoln Park Conservatory, 2391 N. Stockton Drive, is located just five minutes north of downtown. From Lake Shore Drive, exit Fullerton Avenue and travel two blocks west. From I-94, exit Fullerton Avenue and travel two miles east. The Conservatory is located on the southeast corner of Fullerton and Stockton. Alternatively, take CTA bus line #156 weekdays or #151 everyday to Stockton Dr. and Fullerton Ave.
