Day of the Dead is a holiday that is celebrated in Mexico and other parts of Latin America on November 1 and 2. It serves to celebrate the lives of loved ones who have passed. In honor of this traditional holiday, participants will paint and decorate masks to resemble La Catrina, an iconic Skeleton woman known for wearing her fancy hat, created by Mexican artist Jose Posada.
