History
The Chicago Park District identified property located at Congress Parkway and Kedzie Avenue, adjacent to the Eisenhower Expressway for parkland. This property with an address of 3200 W. Congress Parkway and located in the East Garfield Park Community Area is owned by the Illinois Department of Transportation. In January 1, 1974, the District began leasing this site for this park with an agreement with the Illinois Department of Transportation. The site was developed and operates as a park.
