Permit Procedures
The Chicago Park District has a variety of unique and historic settings, including tranquil gardens, lakefront landscapes, quaint indoor spaces, and grand ballrooms in order to host your wedding and/or reception.
Ceremony Only Option
If you would like to host only a wedding ceremony outside in one of the Park District’s gardens or beaches a Special Event Permit – Commemorative Level is required. This permit allows for use of designated outdoor space for a limited time frame and allows for limited amenities. Click here to view procedures and get an application. Reception or Ceremony & Reception Option
