From pumpkin patches to campfire horror movies, and monster bashes, there is something for everyone to enjoy!

Delight in the frightful frills of Fall at the Halloween in the Parks event. The event series is held throughout October in parks across the city. Park patrons of all ages are welcome to attend the multiple offerings celebrating the season and leading up to the official holiday on October 31st . Halloween in the Parks is presented by Mars Wrigley.

Pumpkin patches, campfire horror movies, and monster bashes are just some of the highlights in a month full of Fall fun. Bring your family, friends and neighbors and have a scary good time at these family-friendly events. Come out to the parks to show off your costume, enjoy apple cider, decorate holiday decor, and more! Most events are offered at no cost, and some have a minimal fee for supplies and giveaways.

“Come and have a Happy Halloween in the Parks,” said Chicago Park District Superintendent and CEO Rosa Escareño. “While some events are designed to be spooky, we want everyone to go home with smiles on their faces. With so many options to choose from, there is no better way to celebrate this fun-filled holiday than in your local park.”
