Enjoy holiday-themed events for all ages in parks across the city
The Chicago Park District is hosting a diverse range of winter holiday-themed events for the rest of December. These events are offered to a wide age range of park patrons. The most wonderful time of the year continues in the Chicago Park District as we host a wide offering of holiday events located all over the city. Most events are free, with some having a small fee to participate and cover the cost of supplies. In addition, certain events require advanced registration.

Ho! Ho! Ho! Join us for a cup of hot cocoa with Santa at Willye B. White Park. The free event is a wonder opportunity for children to visit with jolly Santa, take a selfie and share their holiday wishes.
Swim with Santa's Helpers

Join us for holiday fun at Skate with Santa, open to all ages. Admission is free, skate rental is $7. Pre-registration is strongly encouraged for Open Skate programming*: www.chicagoparkdistrict.comice-rinks.
Sled-assisted skating allows people of all abilities to skate together. These specialty sleds for both children and adults are designed with a foot guard, ABS bucket seat, foot rest and pusher handle. Available upon request.

Deaf & Hard of Hearing Winter Break Extravaganza

Fun day of gym and art activities at Horner Park. Please bring a lunch and snacks. There will be at ice skating from 3-4:30pm at McFetridge Sports Center. All equipment is provided. Ice skating is optional.
