Additional engagement opportunities coming to communities across the city

Chicago Park District General Superintendent and CEO Rosa Escareno joins community leaders and residents of the Washington Park community and neighboring communities to engage and gather valuable input from stakeholders. The listening session will take place on Wednesday, September 28, 2022 from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. at DuSable Museum, 740 E. 56th Place.

The Chicago Park District hosts community forum, the second in a series of listening sessions to gather input to shape the future of parks and the District as a whole. Community forums signal the commitment from the District’s new leadership to guide the agency with transparency, collaboration and accountability. After a brief presentation from the Superintendent, community stakeholders will be called to provide input, express concerns about their park. Speakers must sign-up to speak at the registration table.

The Chicago Park District will host a third community forum at Warren Park, 6601 N. Western on October 26th.  The District will also engage communities in smaller roundtables in the coming months. For more information, visit
