The Chicago Park District is hosting the 5th annual Veterans Windy City Winter Sports Clinic. This event is open to all veterans and active-duty personnel.
The adaptive sports clinic invites all participants to compete in a wide range of athletic competitions including
- Ice skating (adaptive equipment will be available)
- Biathlon
- Curling
- Snowshoeing
- Mountain Biking
- Floor Hockey
Participants will be rotating between activity stations. Veterans’ resources will be available and partner organizations will be assisting on site on February 11, 2026 from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. at McKinley Park, 2210 W. Pershing Rd.
The Chicago Park District is proud to offer year-round programs for Veterans in parks throughout the city. These offer opportunities for participants to stay active and connected with their fellow service members.
