The Chicago Park District Board of Commissioners is a seven-person governing body appointed by the Mayor of Chicago. The Board consists of Chicago residents who are leaders in their community and professions. Monthly public meetings are held at various Park District locations where the public is welcome to attend and participate by speaking on issues important to them. The Park District Board of Commissioners reviews and approves and oversees various Park District spending, projects, acquisitions, and community impact.

The regular February Meeting of the Board of Commissioners is scheduled for Wednesday, February 11, 2026, at 9:00 am.
Advance registration is required to speak at the meeting.
Registration will be open Friday, February 6 at noon through Monday, February 9 at noon.
