The Chicago Park District Board of Commissioners is a seven-person governing body appointed by the Mayor of Chicago. The Board consists of Chicago residents who are leaders in their community and professions. Monthly public meetings are held at various Park District locations where the public is welcome to attend and participate by speaking on issues important to them. The Park District Board of Commissioners reviews and approves and oversees various Park District spending, projects, acquisitions, and community impact.

The regular June Meeting of the Board of Commissioners is scheduled for Wednesday, June 10, 2026, at 9 am at Clarendon Park, 4501 North Clarendon Avenue.
NOTICE: Attendees of Chicago Park District Board meetings may be subject to security screenings, including bag inspections. Compliance with these procedures is required for entry. As a reminder, please see the Chicago Park District Public Participation Guidelines, which include a list of prohibited items. These rules and procedures are in place to ensure the safety and order of public meetings.
Advance registration is required to speak at Board Meetings.
Registration will be open Friday, June 5, at noon through Monday, June 8, at noon.
