The Office of Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion will drive institutional change to build a more accessible Park District, with the goal of fostering a positive organizational culture based on core values. We recognize that we play an important role in creating and sustaining safe, supportive, and inclusive environments for park visitors enjoying park space and participating in our programming, and for our staff working within our facilities. Our goal is to identify and address the origins and consequences of inequity, level the field of opportunity, and make systems and spaces more accessible and equitable for everyone.
