Arts in the Dark Parade at Grant

Now in its 12th year, Arts in the Dark is a magical evening parade celebrating Halloween as the “artist’s holiday” and drawing together world-renowned institutions, celebrated Chicago cultural organizations, important youth programs, and aspiring artists in every field. It is a dazzling production that delights an audience of 100,000 with unique floats, spectacle puppets and creative performances.
BIG NEWS: We are moving the parade back to its original location on Columbus Drive! We have outgrown the State Street footprint, so the parade will take place on Columbus Drive moving north from Balbo to Jackson.
Presented by LUMA8 and the City of Chicago in partnership with DCASE and with major support from Chicago Loop Alliance and Goodwill of Greater Milwaukee and Chicago.
