Join Audubon Great Lakes, The Wetlands Initiative and the Chicago Park District to restore ecological health and integrity in prairie, savanna, wetland and hemi-marsh habitats at Indian Ridge Marsh in South Deering, Chicago. Workdays will include introductions to habitat restoration through nature hikes, clean ups, seed collecting, native plug planting, tree planting and seed processing. All ages and experience levels welcome. Please wear a hat, long pants, long sleeves and boots that you don't mind getting dirty! Tools, gloves and snacks provided.
