Description

In recognition of American Heart Month, the Chicago Park District is raising awareness on heart health. Events will provide health assessments and education, while offering nutrition and physical activity tips to reduce chronic disease.
This event is in partnership with Chicago Department of Public Health and local health care and University partners.

Screenings include a variety of
  • Blood pressure readings
  • Resting heart rate
  • A heart health questionnaire
  • Consultation with healthcare providers, including fitness and nutrition experts
  • Opportunities to explore heart-healthy fitness options available through the Chicago Park District.
