House Dance Foundations with Tre Daniels at McFetridge

This workshop introduces dancers to the roots of House Dance, grounded in the cultural legacy of Chicago and New York. Students will explore Jacking, Footwork, Lofting, and Exchanging, while also learning how music, history, and community built this movement. With a live DJ incorporated into class, students will experience the energy of House in real time, and each session will finish with an exchange that brings all the elements together. Please wear loose athletic clothes and clean, dry, tennis shoes.
