The Jazz Institute of Chicago presents a tribute to the great Louis Armstrong and the centennial celebration of his arrival to Chicago. The featured band is the wildly popular Chicago Cellar Boys, the premier vintage band in Chicago. They will dazzle you with two sets of traditional jazz music focusing on early jazz of the 20th century. Be prepared to do a jig!

Opening for Cellar Boys, at 6:30, is Jazz Links Student Council band led by Jack Nelson.

Jazz City is free, family friendly, open to the public, and brought to you by the Chicago Park District, Night Out In The Parks, WDCB 90.9 FM, and the Jazz Institute of Chicago.
