Description
From April 30 through May 3, 2021, hundreds of cities worldwide will compete to see who can make the most observations of urban flora and fauna, find the most species, and get the most people participating. The City Nature Challenge aims to engage city residents and visitors in learning about their local nature and to help all of us better understand urban biodiversity. During your visit use the iNaturalist app on a digital device to identify as many species as possible to participate in the City Nature Challenge.
Enjoy a self-guided hike through the preserve, gaze at the sky above and listen for nocturnal animals. Open late for those who work during the day. Free parking, no registration required.
Face-covers and social distancing are required during your visit.
