Description
Presented by the Culture, Arts & Nature Department (CAN) Luminaria de la Vida highlights recent ceramic works by Vida Radick, long-time beloved ceramics facilitator at Ridge Park Cultural Center in Beverly. Vida’s body of work intertwines the useful and the totemic – and in so doing, favors organic forms. Her series of luminaries are the central groundwork for the exhibition, and feature quietly dramatic interplay between light and shadow.
Vida has been teaching ceramics for over two decades and has been working for the Chicago Park District for over 25 years. This is her first solo exhibition.
