Manolo is an amiable science-fiction/fantasy geek who knows everything and anything there is to know about every single show and movie. He is also an engineer working on a road project that may endanger a valuable archaeological site believed to have been a taíno village. When he finds a mysterious object at the site, Manolo unwittingly triggers a mechanism that transports him to an alternate reality. There he meets Lorena, one of the many gatekeepers responsible for ensuring that no alternative reality blends into each other. In order to get back, Manolo and Lorena move from one reality to the next in search of the object’s three other missing pieces.
Manolo es un simpático friki de la ciencia ficción y la fantasía que sabe todo lo que hay que saber sobre cada serie y película. También es un ingeniero que trabaja en un proyecto vial que puede poner en peligro un valioso sitio arqueológico que se cree que fue una aldea taína. Al encontrar un objeto misterioso en el sitio, Manolo activa sin saberlo un mecanismo que lo transporta a una realidad alternativa. Allí conoce a Lorena, una de los muchos guardianes responsables de garantizar que ninguna realidad alternativa se mezcle con las demás. Para regresar, Manolo y Lorena se mueven de una realidad a otra en busca de las otras tres piezas faltantes del objeto.
