NLCCC Annual Arts Festival at Douglass

Join North Lawndale Community Coordinating Council's annual Arts Festival in Ana and Frederick Douglass Park. First Saturday August 1st 11 am-7pm. We will be showcasing local performing artists, visual artists selling their original art, culinary artists, jewelry and clothing. The Westside of Chicago will again come together and have FUN!
As part of the day's festivities, The Stories of Us will debut new and existing sculptural works on honor of the 250th anniversary of the U.S. Additionally, One Lawndale Arts & Activism Incubator youth will present a series of poems inspired by the commissioned works and its themes.
