Owl Prowl at NPV
Tuesday, 5:30 PM - 8:30 PM
Description
In partnership with the Chicago Ornithological Society, come and learn about the raptor of the night- the owl! This event includes a presentation about owls, followed by guided walks that will lead participants through the preserve in search of owls. We encourage participants to dress warmly!
To better cater to our audiences, there will be two walks offered this evening. The first walk will immediately follow the owl presentation (around 6:30 pm) and will be offered primarily for families and those with younger children. The second walk, for adults with a later bedtime, will begin around 7:30 pm. Meet at the Nature Center to join the second walk.
Go green by taking the CTA to the Nature Center: Pulaski (#53 bus) to Ardmore or Peterson (# 84 bus) to Pulaski. If arriving by car, please park in designated Nature Center Visitor Parking. Note: No parking at designated NPV Apartments lots.
