The Playground at Taylor-Lauridsen

“The Playground” is a site-specific Circus Theatre show addressing the polarization plaguing our country through witty wordplay, clowning, movement, and circus. What happens when a group of strangers with oppositional political and cultural beliefs, socioeconomic statuses and sexual orientations collide? And what if that collision wasn’t taken too seriously, but instead viewed with curiosity and a willingness to connect? “The Playground” explores all of these questions and more, along with a healthy dose of circus spectacle for when words alone just don’t cut it.
