TRACE (Teens Re-imagining Art, Community & Environment) presents a series of workshops entitled Re-Imagining Each Other showcasing the power or photography and visual art to correct outsider narratives around communities of color. Facilitated by a group of dynamic TRACE Teaching Artist, each workshop asks attendees to bring images from there photo albums that feature the neighborhood in a positive light. Those images will be scanned and included in a photo exhibition curated by TRACE participants. Join photographer, 2018 ?Chicagoan of the Year? and TRACE Guest Teaching Artist Tonika Johnson as she discusses her powerful Folded Mapproject.
