RiverLab: Paddle Skills Workshop at River

Build your confidence on the water and improve your paddling technique with our Paddling Skills Workshop. Led by an American Canoe Association certified instructor, this paddling course covers both solo and tandem skills and maneuvers for flatwater canoeing. Come on your own or with a partner, all equipment and instruction are included in your registration fee. Be sure to wear comfortable clothing and remember to bring water and sunscreen. Please plan to arrive 15 minutes before the program start time. Youth under 18 must be accompanied by an adult. Based in River Park, the Chicago Park District's RiverLab program is a series of educational events and activities dedicated to reconnecting residents of Chicago with their river.
