TRANSplantas: printmaking posters at Barrett

Marimacha Monarca Press, as the artist-in-residence at Yollocalli’s satellite studios, will host 3 free bilingual printmaking workshops centered on their international print exchange portfolio. Each 3-hour session will teach participants about the portfolio themes and artists while focusing on a specific printmaking technique, including relief printmaking, cyanotypes, and wheatpasting. Attendees are encouraged to join all three workshops to learn different techniques and create protest posters reflecting issues they are passionate about. Participants will leave with their own prints and have the chance to view a pop-up exhibition of the international print portfolio. https://www.yollocalli.org/
