Description
Volunteers, whether individuals, families or groups, help restore the natural area each Sunday and Wednesday from 9:00am-12:00pm. Students can earn service hours, and everyone earns a great sense of fulfillment. Children younger than 14 years old must be accompanied by a responsible adult at all times. Activities may include trail maintenance, invasive plant species removal, seeding or planting. All tools and training provided. New faces welcome! Dress for the weather - most work is done outdoors. When the temperature is below 10 degrees or above 90 degrees F, a scheduled workday will be cancelled. If you are a group of 5 or more individuals, please contact the Nature Center at least 48 hours before arriving to a workday.
