Join Liz Rex as she gives us a tour of the native plant garden at the Chicago Botanic Garden (CBG). Liz is a Horticulturist who cares for the native plant garden, as well as a number of other gardens within the Chicago Botanic Garden. This is a wonderful opportunity to learn about native planting design and maintenance for homeowners and native plant enthusiasts alike. We'll also have an opportunity to view other gardens inside the CBG. We'll meet inside the garden, at the Carl Linnaeus statue at 10am. Carpoolers call Bob for carpooling details (312) 744-5472. We'll get lunch at a nearby restaurant afterwards.
